The happiness of meeting again after a long time
Litho of the Devonshire gems. I bought it for $2 because I’d read about these in school, they’re an important example of Egyptian Victorian motifs, and I just now discover that the print is contemporary to the jewels and was displayed at the Great Exhibition in 1862. Decor score.
